Introducing 4tified Blues
A Voice for New Jersey’s Finest

4tified Consulting is proud to announce the launch of 4tified Blues — a new quarterly publication developed by the 4tified Consulting team to showcase original content written and created by and for New Jersey law enforcement officers. This platform is dedicated to fostering creativity, connection, and community among those who serve. Whether you’re on patrol, behind the desk, or navigating retirement, your voice matters and we want to hear it.

4tified Blues will be available online and in print (upon request), and aims to provide a meaningful outlet for officers to share their experiences, insights, and creativity with peers across the state. We believe in the power of storytelling, artistic expression, and honest conversation to strengthen bonds, inspire growth, and promote resilience within the law enforcement community.

Submissions We're Looking For:

We invite a wide range of submissions, including but not limited to:

• Personal Reflections – Stories of resilience, lessons learned, defining moments, or reflections on the job.

• Creative Writing – Poems, short stories, and essays that capture the heart of the badge.

• Artwork & Photography – Visual pieces that tell a story or offer a unique perspective on the profession.

• “Ask the Shrink” – Submit questions (anonymously) for our licensed mental health professionals to answer in each issue. These can be about mental health, stress management, family balance, or navigating the job.

• Peer Spotlights – Recognize a colleague (without names) who inspires you or embodies the spirit of the job.

• Humor & Satire – Tasteful content that brings a smile or laugh from the front lines.

Submission Guidelines:

All submissions can be made directly through our website at www.4tifiedconsulting.com. Submissions will be reviewed by our editorial team prior to publication. While we encourage honesty and authenticity, we are committed to upholding standards that protect the integrity and safety of all involved.

Exclusionary Criteria:
Submissions must not include:

• Names of individuals or departments

• Personal identifying information (yours or others')

• Descriptions that raise safety concerns, including threats toward self or others

• Accounts of abuse or neglect of others

Cost:

There are no fees to submit, be published in, or receive 4tified Blues. Should any fees be considered in the future, they will go solely toward covering publication costs and will never be for profit.

Our goal is to cultivate a safe, respectful, and empowering space for officers to express themselves. We’re honored to provide a platform where your voice can be heard.
